The UFC today announced the hiring of former soccer executive Garry Cook as Executive Vice President and Managing Director of Europe, Middle East and Africa.Cook joins the company following a four-year stint as Chief Executive of Manchester City Football Club.
"Garry is a man with a fantastic record for high-profile achievements in the sports industry with tremendous international experience," UFC President Dana White stated in a press release. "We are confident he will continue the huge developments the UFC has made internationally and lead us to further success."
