World Series of Fighting (WSOF) today officially launches its efforts to become Las Vegas' newest successful MMA promotion. And it will announce that former WEC bantamweight champion and four-time UFC veteran Miguel Torres will headline its first major show, a person familiar with the deal told USA TODAY Sports and MMAjunkie.com.
The promotion is expected to reveal the headliner at a news conference today in Las Vegas.
