?Cyborg? Santos willing to drop to 140 pounds to fight Ronda Rousey

It looks like the women?s side of MMA may be one step closer to their second legitimate super-fight, as Brazilian brawler Cristiane Santos has come down off her previous statements saying she could only fight Strikeforce bantamweight champ Ronda Rousey at 145 pounds where ?Rowdy Ronda? first started her career. Santos, who is shredded at featherweight, had previously explained it would not be healthy for her to slim down anymore than she already has.

However, with Rousey unwilling to come up to meet her, it appears Santos has reconsidered the matter.

?The 145-pound division is my category, but I can drop until 140 pounds to fight her,? revealed Santos in an interview with Fighters Only. ?It does not depend on me. It is up to the event. My business is to fight inside the cage and do not trash talk outside the fence.?

“Cyborg” Calls Rousey a “Spoiled Little Girl”

Santos and Rousey have exchanged verbal jabs in the past, though ?Cyborg? has since backed off her attack.

Combined, the two hold an overall record of 16-1 with fourteen finishes. Rousey was last seen stopping Sarah Kaufman in less than a minute of their August meeting, while Santos has been collecting dust since December when she tested positive for steroid use after defending the Strikeforce featherweight title she once wore.
