UFC on FX 5 medical report features seven fighters sidelined for the foreseeable future

UFC on FX 5 took place at the Target Center in Minneapolis this past Friday, featuring ten fights for the fans to enjoy including a number of exciting efforts and finishes to boot. The commission in Minnesota has now released the ceremonial injury report and suspensions for the fights where all 20 fighters were given a minimum of two weeks off for participating in a Mixed Martial Arts bout.

However, seven of the scrappers received more serious sentences including the likes of Danny Castillo, Jay Hieron, and Travis Browne.

The most severe of the suspensions went to Castillo who was knocked out by Michael Johnson in their fight. According to the regulatory board’s report, the Team Alpha Male competitor must be cleared by a Neurology specialist before returning to the Octagon.
