UFC on FX 5 took place at the Target Center in Minneapolis this past Friday, featuring ten fights for the fans to enjoy including a number of exciting efforts and finishes to boot. The commission in Minnesota has now released the ceremonial injury report and suspensions for the fights where all 20 fighters were given a minimum of two weeks off for participating in a Mixed Martial Arts bout.
However, seven of the scrappers received more serious sentences including the likes of Danny Castillo, Jay Hieron, and Travis Browne.
The most severe of the suspensions went to Castillo who was knocked out by Michael Johnson in their fight. According to the regulatory board’s report, the Team Alpha Male competitor must be cleared by a Neurology specialist before returning to the Octagon. Even if cleared by a Neurologist, he will at least be out for two months and cannot train at full speed for 45 days.

Travis Browne: No contact for 14 days and suspended from fighting for 30 days due to his TKO loss to Silva
Jay Hieron: No contact for 14 days and suspended from fighting for 30 due to laceration from his decision loss versus Jake Ellenberger
Jussier da Silva: No contact for 14 days and suspended from fighting for 30 for his TKO loss to John Dodson
Danny Castillo: Has been suspended indefinitely, and must be evaluated by a Neurologist. If cleared prior, he has a mandatory suspension for 60 days and no contact for 45 for his knockout loss to Michael Johnson
Diego Nunes: No contact for 30 days and is �suspended 45 days due to cuts he received in his win over Bart Palaszewski
Bart Palaszewski: No contact for 30 days, and suspended 45 days �due to cuts he received in his win over Diego Nunes
Aaron Simpson: No contact for 45 days and suspended 60 days due to his knockout loss to Mike Pierce
