Once housemates on The Ultimate Fighter 11, Kyle Noke and Seth Baczynski are set to fight at the UFC on FX 6 card in Australia. Noke was on Team Liddell and Baczynski was on Team Ortiz, but none of that matters anymore as the two square off for a welterweight fight in December.
After losing two in a row in the middleweight division, Australian native Noke (20-6-1) dropped down to the welterweight division and looks to have made a good decision in doing so. He recently squared off with Charlie Brenneman and finished him in under a minute via technical knockout. Now 3-2 in the UFC, Noke is looking to stack up wins in the welterweight division.
Noke Very Happy with Decision to Drop to 170 Pounds
The match-up was first reported by MMADiehards.
Baczynski (17-6) didn?t do as well as Noke did on TUF, coming in as a replacement for the injured Chris Camozzi and losing in the same round as Noke. However, Baczynski fell in his fight that took place at the finale and was released from the UFC. After two wins the “Polish Pistola” was brought back to the UFC and is currently on a four-fight winning streak. The Baczynski has finished three of his last four opponents including Simeon Thoresen who he knocked out at UFC 152 in Toronto.
UFC on FX 6 is set to go down on December 14 at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. The event will feature the finale fights for the The Ultimate Fighter: Australia vs. UK , as well as a fight between coaches George Sotiropoulos and Ross Pearson and a middleweight bout between Hector Lombard-Rousimar Palhares.
