WBC middleweight (160 pounds) titlist Sergio Martinez (46-2-2, 25 knockouts) is coming off of last Saturday's HBO-televised clash of southpaws during which he scored a second-round stoppage of challenger Paul Williams (39-2, 27 KOs), who was ranked No. 3 on most lists among the best fighters pound-for-pound in the sport behind six-time champ Floyd Mayweather (41-0, 25 KOs) and eight-division king Manny Pacquiao (52-3-2, 38 KOs).

Promoted by Top Rank Promotions, Pacquiao presently holds the WBO welterweight (147 pounds) and WBC junior middleweight (154 pounds) belts.

In defeating Williams, who is promoted by Goossen Tutor Promotions, Martinez avenged a December majority decision loss during which both southpaws were dropped in the first round. In this video, Martinez, who is promoted by Lou DiBella, tells FanHouse why he believes Mayweather and Pacquiao.
