Strikeforce's April 9 event is expected to take place in San Diego and will feature a pair of title bouts, as welterweight champ Nick Diaz takes on Paul Daley and lightweight champ Gilbert Melendez battles Tatsuya Kawajiri.However, the Showtime-televised event won't include the remaining opening round matchups from Strikeforce's heavyweight grand prix.
