Strikeforce's K.J. Noons seeking (another) shot at titleholder Gilbert Melendez

Welterweight, catchweight or lightweight? It doesn't really matter to K. J. Noons. He's a competitor.

Give him an opponent and a weight cap, and he appears up for any challenge. Frankly, he's not even picky about which combat sport after having competed in kickboxing, boxing and MMA.

For the time being, MMA is the name of the game, and the opportunities have been rolling in. This time a title shot against current champion Gilbert Melendez is likely on the line when Noon meets Jorge Masvidal on Saturday night.
