It never seems to go according to plan for Seth Baczynski. The young middleweight was in prime position to make a name for himself during Season 11 of "The Ultimate Fighter," but got disqualified during the quarterfinals for landing an illegal soccer in his fight against Brad Tavares. Tavares beat Baczynski via decision in a rematch at the TUF 11 Finale. He made it to the UFC and Baczynski is now back in the minors.
He may be called up soon if Dana White and UFC matchmaker Joe Silva get a look at his brawl Thursday night at Tachi Palace Fighting 7.
Baczynski and UFC veteran Tim McKenzie fought with reckless abandon for 90 seconds straight when the "Polish Pistola" got caught in a vicious armbar (3:15 mark).
Check out how long his left arm was twisted and hyperextended. Baczynski freed himself and used his right arm to pound the hell out of McKenzie with a half-dozen nasty elbows and then some brutal hammer fists. Referee Josh Rosenthal saved McKenzie, and Baczynski celebrated the victory gingerly.
MMAjunkie's John Morgan served as the fight card's color analyst. Speaking with Baczynski's teammates, he said there was no official word if the arm was broken, but the arm had swelled up badly and had the look of Urijah Faber's leg after his loss to Jose Aldo.
